CAMBA, a not for profit employer association, has been working for independent food retailers since 1913. For a small membership fee members receive many valuable services.

CAMBA protects the interests of the small food retailer.
CAMBA keeps active contact with Government Ministers to vigorously represent members' interests in all areas affected by Government action. The Association also liaises with suppliers of products, equipment and services to further the interests of members.
CAMBA publishes the "Australian Food Shop Magazine".
Members receive this valuable magazine free of charge every two months. "Australian Food Shop Magazine" is full of information designed to keep retailers right up to date with matters affecting the running of their business. The latest retailing tips, employment matters, laws, market trends and much more is inside this vital magazine.
CAMBA has two banner buying groups.
CAMBA has established two buying group banners, the Local Food Shop group and Your local convenience store group to ensure members are able to buy products and services at competitive prices.
Members in suitably sized milk bars, mixed businesses and independant convenience stores may apply to join these buying groups. Special deals are negotiated so that members can promote their stores and compete effectively.
CAMBA EFTPOS.
CAMBA has negotiated a special group price on EFTPOS merchant fees through NATIONAL AUSTRALIA BANK, the ANZ BANK and the COMMONWEALTH BANK that now makes it affordable for members to provide EFTPOS facilities in their stores.
